Mike

This story begins years and years ago...when Chris was in high school. A young man came to live with the Wainscott family. He was a year behind Chris in school and Chris just loved him, thought of him as a brother. Because of extenuating circumstances Mike only stayed with them about a year. From what I have heard that year was VERY fun. They lost contact with him and last year Mike came to Indy for the 500 and happened to sit next to a dental assistant at our dentist office. When she said she lived on the south side he asked if she knew any Wainscotts...she got a hold of Chris' sister who gave us the number. Mike came to see us this year! Is God awesome or what? It was a great reunion and very hard to let him go again. During the time Mike lived with them they took a family picture...don't laugh too hard!!!! Doesn't my hubby look like a stud in that pic.? I think it must be that corduroy jacket!!! (haha) From what I understand Chris was very popular with the ladies and Mike called it the "Wainscott Clutch". I have to endure stories about the "clutch" from Chris and now Jason. The last time Chris saw him, Mike only came to his chin...things have changed. Mike grew UP. This last picture is of Jerry (Dad), Greg (Brother), Chris and Mike in the middle front. We hope there are many more get togethers!!! We can't wait to meet his wife and kids. Hopefully they will come down soon.
