Since my brother moved to Arizona last summer this was going to be the first Christmas that he and his family would not spend Christmas with my parents. So as a suprise present for my Dad, my mom arranged to fly them out here to spend 10 days after Christmas. My brother stayed home and worked. The night of Dec. 26 Chris and I went to the airport and picked up Shannon, Evan & Iain. It was late, about 1 am when we pulled into the driveway. Dad was still up playing on the computer and did not hear us. We sent the boys to the door and instead of knocking they tried to walk in which jingled the handle and alerted the dog. The boys had begun knocking at this point and Dad was puzzled to say the least...he had NO CLUE who was out there!!! When he saw the boys he was stunned....he kept saying "what are you doing here?" He asked if they flew in and was yelling for my mom to come and see who was there and asking if we knew about this. He was hugging everyone. It was definately a wonderful surprise!

Mollie really liked Evan and followed him around and "saved" him from mean Papo when they wrestled. Iain and I became good buddies...something rare for Iain. We wrestled and played hide and seek and chase.
We spent time at the house with them and went to the children's museum in Indy. Gracie and Papo raced Mollie and myself down a 2 story slide....Mollie and I won!!! Gracie and Iain also played really well this time...she had him pull her back and forth on that little raft a million times.
